Quotations aside, this is what happens to the water we use in our production:
The steam used in the pasteurisation of the pots is channelled into cooling towers that transform the steam into liquid water, which is stored in tanks ready for further use.
But concretely how much water do we save?
This year we produced about 18 thousand kg of spring onions for a total of 50 thousand pots.
We used 257 thousand litres of water and recovered a good 192 thousand litres, thus saving 75% of the water used!
