




Calibre, what is it?
The size indicates the quantity of olives in a space, not their size. The smaller the size, the larger the olive.
Green olives have a size of 16/18, which indicates that there will be an average of 160/180 olives per kilo.
Pitted or stuffed olives, occupy less space and therefore the calibre is 24/25, which indicates that the space occupied is less.
The giant olives, with a calibre of 7/9 are those with more flesh, making them juicier.
